For street dogs, sticking together is the closest thing to family.
They have no siblings, no safe home, no sense of stability but only each other. Their bond is everything. That’s why it’s especially heartbreaking to get puppies separated during rescue efforts.
But this one was different.
When longtime Southern California rescuer Suzette Hall and her friend Mary got a call about the three abandoned dogs in an alley, they rushed over with one clear mission: to rescue all of them, and all together!
All They Had Was Each Other

It is reported that a neighbour named Mysi was taken aback when she spotted the three dogs huddled together in an alley near her California home. Their skittishness around people and sudden appearance in the neighborhood made it clear they had been abandoned.
“Three little babies dumped in an alley. They literally stuck together like glue. They only had each other,” Hall shared on Facebook.
Realizing the dogs wouldn’t survive on their own much longer, Mysi knew they urgently needed help. Despite their tight bond, they were vulnerable and in desperate need of rescue hence why she reached out to Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy, and her friend Mary.

The two arrived at the alley ready for what they expected to be a long and challenging rescue. Hall had only one trap with her and, knowing how fearful the dogs were around people, she assumed it would take time for this mission but she was in for a pleasant surprise.
“They were scared and would run if you tried to approach them. I only had one trap because my other one was stolen. So, we rescued them one at a time. Each one just wanted to be with the others,” Hall shared.
As soon as she set the trap, the dogs began entering one after another.
The two females and one male were clearly starving, and the tempting scent of hot dogs inside the trap was enough to win their trust. Thankfully, this time their trust was well-placed. After struggling on the streets for an unknown period, they were finally safe and cared for.
Hall and Mary gently loaded them into the car, ready to give them the fresh start they deserved.

In the end, it was incredibly heartwarming to see these three “street siblings” curled up together, finally safe and able to rest without fear.
“They just snuggled right up to each other, like glue. These sweet little babies will never have to spend another night in that alley,” Hall said.
After a thorough checkup at the vet, there’s just one more step left for these resilient pups: finding a loving home.
Given all they’ve endured, there’s no doubt these adorable dogs deserve a place to call their own — a home filled with laughter, endless play, and unconditional love. We are positive that our readers at The Pet Zilla will agree with this!
